SILVANUS

SILVANUS (H2020, GA 101037247) is an Integrated Technological and Information Platform for Wildfire Management. Venaka TReLeaf serves as the technical lead for AI/ML capabilities, delivering computer vision, geospatial analytics, and biodiversity monitoring across European pilot sites.

Our Role

As technical lead, VTG is responsible for the AI/ML toolkit that powers SILVANUS’s analytical capabilities — including wildfire risk assessment, forest resource monitoring, biodiversity analytics, and multi-agency operational coordination. This work produced several Nexus products that are now independently deployable:

• NexusAtlas — geospatial digital-twin platform, developed and matured in SILVANUS
• NexusBiome — citizen-science biodiversity platform with species recognition
• NexusFlow — agentic AI orchestration, generalised from SILVANUS workflows
