TERRA

TERRA (Horizon Europe, GA 101189962) develops services and products that integrate Copernicus data, Earth Observation analytics, and decision-support tools for coastal and environmental monitoring. VTG leads the AI/ML toolkit Work Package.

Our Role

VTG leads the AI/ML toolkit Work Package, developing and validating deep-learning pipelines for coastline detection, coastal erosion forecasting, flood risk assessment, and water pollution analysis. This work produced:

• NexusEarth — Earth Observation intelligence platform, built and validated in TERRA
• NexusAtlas — extended through TERRA for coastal and environmental monitoring
• NexusScholar — document intelligence, generalised from TERRA’s evidence synthesis needs
